INTERMEDIATE CANOPY CONTROL COURSE 

March 21^st – 22^nd  2009 

With World Record Holder and Nationals Champion

This course is designed for students who are already comfortable with flying in a traffic pattern and can land standing up consistently.   

Cost- students pick up the instructors slot. No other instructional fees.  

The reference for the course is the SIM section 6-10 and 11 

1. Class Room
1. Canopy Anatomy and Terminology
2. Flight characteristics
3. Dive Plan Discussion
2. Field time
1. Two to Three jumps
2. High altitude hop and pops
3. Student follows instructor with canopy input flying relative but with NO CONTACT
4. If the student desires, Canopy Formation Skydiving can be introduced.
3. Debrief
1. What was learned?
2. How can the maneuvers be useful for every day canopy flight?
